Specialising in comic roles, I have performed on stages across the UK and Europe, from the Edinburgh Fringe to theatres in France and Germany as a member of the prestigious 2024 Cambridge University European Theatre Group, following in the footsteps of world-renowned actors like Derek Jacobi. I am interested in stories which focus around strong, recognisable characters that I can really get to grips with and embody.
My most recent credits include Mac in Wedding of the Century by Lucy Sargent, which I also produced, in the show’s London debut at the White Bear Theatre in May 2025. I’m also looking forward to the upcoming release of a series of videos I have been working on with BBC Bitesize for second language Welsh learners at school!
While comic acting is definitely my happy place, I have plenty of experience filling all sorts of niches: leading love interests, disdainful antagonists, whatever the character calls for! I’m always playing around with and coming up with new characters, using the fantastic creative device of improvisational role-play (yes, I do mean DnD) to practise living, breathing and thinking as a whole host of characters as often as I can. I’m also always on the look out for new characters, taking advantage of my background as a linguist and a born Welsh-English bilingual to get a feel for the theatres of all sorts of different cultures. I’m able to draw on the classic dramas of Russian practitioners like Chekhov in the original, while also dipping into classic French works like those of Pierre Corneille to really broaden the range of stories I can tell, and characters I can create.
If you have a project you think I’d be a good fit for, or if you’d like to chat more about my work – please don’t hesitate to drop me a message – I can’t wait to hear from you!
